Q: How did you get into the adult entertainment industry?

A: I had been working with my cousin Giancarlo for several years as his assistant in the insurance industry.  We found ourselves victims of the crash in the financial markets and started working second and third jobs to make ends meet.  It just so happened that I showed Giancarlo a want ad for a night driver. No one knows the roads better than him. He was hired immediately as a driver working for an escort agency. One evening, I offered to ride with him. Our cousin, Giancarlo, was the only male with whom our dad would allow us out of the house. Our dad loved him. My dad was ex-military and Giancarlo had attended a military academy. I see absolutely nothing wrong with Geisha Affair wanting to prosper from all their hard work. Why is this something that should be resented? Attracting the clients is a doubled edged sword because it means we need to pander to their egos and that could lead to a dilution of our original intent. My concern is it will foster the same environment like those that I have witnessed in the past on other familiar websites, an incestuous, competitive group who cannibalize one another until all are disgusted or bored and they disband.

In any event, for now I am a believer and I believe that I am betting on a potentially successful venture.

Q. On your website you use the word "Project". What does it mean?

A. Hot Ice Project is more than just a blog, on-line store or message board. We are still taking our first steps but are gaining a better understanding of how to reach our desired goals. The objective is to create America's first, interactive, online portal for women who are not afraid of their sexuality; women who celebrate the fact that they are indeed different than men. Too often, we are told that as women we should aspire to achieve equality with men. Did you ever hear any culture refer to Earth or Nature as "father"? No, it is always Mother or Goddess. Different does not mean unequal. As people we all have the same rights when it comes to employment, medical care, etc. But to say that we are the same would be a mistake.  One of the goals of Hot Ice Project it to celebrate and address our unique needs and interests as women, not to emulate what men have created for themselves.

A. Yes and no. Every woman, regardless of her age, social status or marital status will always be that of daughter, sister, mother, or lover. We sometimes think that we are different, but put two women together of various ages or cultural backgrounds and within 2 minutes they will find something in common.  We do not speak to only one demographic of women, but rather tailor our various programs based on various segments. For example, we set up a HIPA program (Hot Ice Project Affiliates) to help women who work in the adult industry. These women have very unique needs that we have to take into consideration, such as:
